El Chino y La Diferencia

El Chino y La Diferencia – For the first time in Romania

On October 6, 2016, a project was started to create an orchestra of popular Cuban music, with the purpose of promoting and keeping the authenticity of Cuban music. The idea came from a salsa dancer named Adolfo Indacochea and the percussionist Gabriel aka El Chino.

In the first 3 years, „El Chino y La Diferencia” had the opportunity to collaborate with Adolfo Indacochea and his company „Latin Soul Dancer” in a musical called “Yo soy el Mambo” („I am Mambo”). The orchestra has performed at the most important salsa festivals in Europe, China and Canada: Zurich Salsa Festival (Switzerland), Croatia Summer Salsa Festival (Croatia), Milano Latin Festival (Italy), Evento People Calabria (Italy), El Sol Warsaw Salsa Festival (Poland) / Mamboland International Festival (China and Canada), International Festival M.I.L.F. (Italy), Salsa on Tour (Italy), “Que Viva la Salsa” Festival (Italy).

El Chino y La Diferencia’s first CD, „Mamboland”, was released in 2018, with Abanico Records, recorded in collaboration with great international artists from the World of Salsa, such as Frankie Figueroa, Tito Puente Jr., Ray de la Paz. In 2019, they started a collaboration with the famous Bibomusic Label, and in June they released the single “Santeros”, with Virginia Quesada as a singer. At the end of August 2019, El Chino y la Differncia announced the launching of the orchestra’s new single, CUANDO LLEGO YO A LA FIESTA, with the interpretation of Gabriel Delgado “El Chino” and Eduardo Cespedes.

We are sure that their presence on the stage of the National Salsa Congress will be great and we feel honored for having the chance to dance on their music. Come and see El Chino y La Diferencia on Saturday night, January 25, 2020, only at the National Salsa Congress – 2020 edition.
